The Training Troubles series invites young writers to step into the role of author alongside Super Penny Puppy. Using a familiar, easy-to-follow story structure, each child creates a new adventure in which Penny encounters a problem, races to the rescue, and saves the day—with plenty of imagination and puppy-powered fun along the way.
Each book is written by a young author with the guidance and support of longtime educator Jenn Welby Gilbert. Jenn is passionate about helping children see themselves as capable, creative writers.
